Taproot CSA
Taproot Farm's Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Program provides its'"members" with a weekly share of fresh harvested produce throughout the growing season. our CSA offers over 40 different vegetable varieties, plus an optional egg, chicken, or bread share. We harvest our produce the day before distribute it to give our customers the best tasting, freshest produce a farm can offer. CSA members can either pick-up at the farm, in a market-style setting, with u-pick options, or recieve their pre-packed CSA boxes at a convenient location within the communities we serve. Members enjoy a greater connection to the farm and to the food they eat, through personal contact with the farmers, newsletters, recipe sharing, member work day opportunities and gatherings at the farm.
When you participate in a CSA, you are buying your vegetables directly from the farm that grows them. It gives you the opportunity to know your farmer, know exactly where and how your food is grown, and eat the freshest and most nutritious food available. We'd like to invite you to share the harvest of 2012. We'd like to invite you to be amazed by the flavor of local, organically grown food and to join in the movement for a more sustainable food system.
